Crossing The Line The GEG #3

Review Crossing The Line The GEG #3 Crossing The Line The GEG #3 Read ☆ 2 Warning This book contains serious and sensitive subjects such as mental health issues and unimaginable loss Although this is a standalone I do recommend reading the series in order because all characters subseuent stories continue on in each book even though they are not the main focus Psychotherapist Madelyn St Claire has all the answers At least that’s what the plaues on her wall say There isn’t a fear she’s met that she hasn’t helped a client blast through So why can’t she work through her own Oh that’s right She’. I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Oh this may have to be my favourite of the series and I love them all Without a doubt a three tissue read possibly and laugh oh out loud and from the heart If you have not read the previous books then please do read them first There is a whole level of information which you will miss if you don t Let alone two also fabulous reads which it would be a mistake to miss I am not going to give you any of the story than is in the blurb because for me this review is about how it made me feel the story you need to read for yourself Ms Ayres has a great way with words sometimes so loud that I am not sure I belong with these cool people and other times so soft and gentle that they are clearly all my best friends A few pages in I am in the zone and I am in just the right place The change in tempo along with the change in povs from Declan and Maddie sweeps you along so effectively that every emotion flits through the mind along with them I really suggest that you read this somewhere private as I was hard pressed not to burst into laughter and soon after had tears streaming down my cheeks Some are tears of joy others not so much Some of the lines are so brilliant that you wish you had thought to say that yourself others you will be delighted that your brain filtered out I really just want you to go and read this and understand what I am talking about I am incredibly tempted to cancel my plans for the day and reread it immediately as I am sure that in my desire to get the story I missed something I probably should go and buy some tissues firstIf you enjoy stories which incorporate friends and family good times and bad and set up a romance that everyone wants to happen but somehow things keep getting in the way then this will be for you Thank you Ms Ayres you made my world richer today

Review Crossing The Line The GEG #3

Review Crossing The Line The GEG #3 Crossing The Line The GEG #3 Read ☆ 2 S been so busy helping everyone else through their challenges over the years including her best friends the GEGs that she never even realized she had any of her own true fears Then again she didn’t have a reason to until he came along Cellist Declan Pierce can hit all the right notes as long as he’s hitting them on stage When he’s off well he’s off So he keeps his head down and tries to stay focused on his career and his son Hunter They have shared in a trauma that would bring most closer However theirs has only weighted th. I fell in love with this series when I read book one Under Contract and I ve never looked back I was waiting rather impatiently for Maddie s story and when it finally released I couldn t get started fast enough I was rewarded with a book that made me laugh and cry and reminded me of the definition of true friendshipThis book is all the things we ve come to expect from the GEG s It is laugh out loud funny and full of WTF moments But it is also so much This story is heartbreaking and even gut wrenching at times Yeah you will laugh but you will cry and you may find yourself wondering why on than one occasion But don t let any of that keep you away This book is amazing Declan and Maddie meet in what some might consider to be an unconventional way They have than their share of misunderstandings and setbacks while they get to know each other But through it all they learn to forgive and in the end they learn to love When tragedies strike Maddie and Dec lean on each other than ever as they try to sort through the remains of the brokenhearted left behind But with tragedy comes a bond that little can breakThere are funny moments than sad so don t go thinking it s one of those books We still get the whole gang of GEG s and their crazy clan of cohorts It wouldn t be a proper GEG book without the hilarious banter of all the girls and Jay Let s not forget Jay But this time around we also get a hot sexy Viking and Aussie Kisses added to the mix And it is a welcome addition But be warned you will need tissuesAll in all Jacuelyn Ayres gifts us with a beautiful story of love acceptance and forgiveness One so packed with emotion that I needed a day to process all the things that happened She takes a difficult subject and handles it with the love and care that it deserves She mixes in a healthy does of laughs so that things don t stay too heavy for too long And she gives us a fictional group of friends that help each other laugh and heal A group that I would love to call mine I can t wait to read Julie s story I know that it won t disappoint Kimberly Anne
